Where it all began

SMS Laser Cutting opened its doors in November 2011 as an expansion of our signage business, Singleton Moore Signs. A small factory in Kirrawee, our original studio consisted of a new AMADA F03015 CNC Laser Cutting Machine and our existing Tekcel CNC Router.

Our first press brake

The purchase of our first AMADA HDS 8025 NTPress Brake allowed us to expand our sheet metal capabilities and offer a wider range of services to our clients.

Onwards and upwards

Our team continued to grow as we added a NC Plate Roller and a Trotec Fibre Engraving Machine to our studio. We also introduced in-house industrial design using 3D Solidworks.

A growing service offering

Our business growth required more space, so our team moved to a greater facility on Ethell Road, Kirrawee to offer even more services. We added another CNC Laser Machine, the AMADA Alpha IV 1212, and bulk gas vessels from BOC.

Greater equipment, greater outcomes

We added further equipment to cater for business growth, expand our capabilities and increase our energy efficiency with a new AMADA Ensis 3015 AJ Laser and an upgraded AMADA HS 1303 Press Brake.

Another location opened

With the success of SMS Laser Cutting Sydney, we expanded our operation into Oakleigh South, Melbourne. We employed a team of highly skilled tradesmen, and relocated our Amada FO Laser from Sydney. We also purchased new Tekcel CNC Router, Elumatec Aluminium Extrusion Saw, Brobo Steel Saw along with NC Guillotine, NC Plate, Stud Welding, MIG & TIG welding rollers to complete our set up.

Continued excellence

We added a new AMADA Ensis Fibre Laser to our Melbourne Studio, increasing our capabilities.
